Tokio Hotel drummer Gustav Schafer spent this past Tuesday afternoon in the hospital after colliding with a moving tram!! According to Bild, Schafer 'overtook a line of traffic and drove straight over tram tracks which had been blocked off,' while behind the wheel of his [very expensive] BMW 3-Series. An ongoing tram plowed right into him, the entire car skidded and proceeded to crash into two other vehicles. What a disaster! Following the incident, which took place in Magdeburg, Germany, Schafer was taken away by an ambulance, along with passengers Katharina Kretzschmar and Denny E. All three are fine although Bild reports that Schafter will be 'charged with bodily harm due to negligence.' Ouch! There is currently no word on if anyone aboard the tram (or in the other two vehicles involved) was hurt during the collision, but we here at Buzznet are glad that everyone made it out safely! Recently, singer Bill Kaulitz received Recently, singer Bill Kaulitz received one of the wackiest-yet-highest honors ... his own wax figure at Madame Tussads in Berlin, Germany. Meanwhile, Tokio Hotel is nominated for 'Best Act Ever' at the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards, going up against Green Day, U2, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Rick Astley. A few months ago, we thought today would be a double-whammy of a day with VOTING and the release of Fall Out Boy's "Folie a Deux"—until the album was pushed further into the holiday season for a December 16th release. That didn't keep the FOBs outta the news on this historical day, though. Well, MTV news was all over the voting precincts of both Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump, who stood in line and made their selections early this morning. Most FOB fans already know who the rockers support politically, but on his personal site, Pete revealed an even more personal connection with Obama's VP candidate, Joe Biden—mama and papa Wentz met when they were both legislative assistants to Senator Biden when he was in his first term. How's that for a whole lot less than six degrees of separation? Those of you agonizing over the Folie wait can calm yourselves with the Suave Suarez Remix of "I Don't Care" available NOW on iTunes.
